Information about the auction (A-Z)

Pick up

Auctioned lots can be collected on the following Saturday. Out-of-town customers who wish to bid and collect in writing are requested to note “collector” on the auction order.

Consignments on approval

The lots can generally only be sent 1-2 times. Please only request lots for which you are interested in buying. Postage refund is requested in special stamps. For understandable reasons, mint stamps and collections cannot be sent for viewing.

Viewing

Viewings of the lots can be made in the shop during our opening hours when the catalogue is published. For larger quantities, please make an appointment. Many of the lots can also be found in our online catalogue.

Consignments

Consignments are welcome at any time. Moderate commission and only 0.4% insurance costs (based on the estimated price), no additional costs such as photo fees, etc. Settlement 30 working days after the auction. For particularly valuable “treasures” or collections we are happy to grant you a special commission.

Due to the extensive administrative work, the total net value should not be less than 1,000 €

Photocopies

Please contact us if you would like to receive copies or information.

Bids

For your bidding you will find an auction order in our catalogue or here.
Please send or fax it to our address:

Our bidders have the possibility to bid in person, in writing, by telephone or online. You can also commission a commission agent. Please bid in good time!

In case of “best” bids I will increase the bid up to three times the starting price!

In most cases, underbids are futile. Mistakenly bid lots cannot be taken back for understandable reasons.

Please compare the figures before sending your order.

Our long-standing customers know that they can place high bids here without worrying about being asked to pay unnecessarily. If a lot is advertised at 50 EUR and you bid 100 EUR for it, for example, and the second-highest written or oral bid is 60 EUR, you will be awarded 65 EUR. As a written bidder, you will be treated in exactly the same way as a person present in person at the auction.

Unsold lots

The list of unsold lots is sent to all customers who have placed a written order. If you missed the auction, feel free to get in touch!

The sale of the return lot list starts on the following Saturday. The unsold lots can also be viewed on our homepage.
